Bea Arthur

Kevin, a guy that I work with, uses Bea Arthur as his all-purpose comedic insertion for any scenario. She just makes anything funnier. Need an extra player for a pickup game of hoops? Bea Arthur. How about someone to administer an enema? Again. Bea Arthur. Guest receptionist? Member of a hip hop dance troop? Hibachi chef? You get the idea. Everything is funnier when you drop in the two words, "Bea Arthur."

I'm not sure what will happen now, as Bea Arthur is no longer open for business. Angela Lansbury wins!

I'm kinda feeling my way through this format, but I think that my main job is to provide yall with information that you won't get from CNN or TMZ. And lets also get the Maude and Golden Girls junk out of the way, and move on to other stuff.

Well, let's start with the roast of Pam Anderson. I actually didn't find it very funny at all, but some folks love it. Then I dug a little deeper to discover that she has quite a cult following, and even her own web site. I absolutely defy any of you to sit through this entire interview, which clocks in at well over two hours.

But, my favorite Bea Arthur moment absolutely has to be her cameo as the bar keep in the Star Wars Holiday Special (1:21). Rest in Peace, "Ackmena."
